I think the law about suicide being illegal is dumb. What do I care what happens to my body after I'm dead? What are you going to do, arrest me?

The excise tax on long distance phone calls that was still paying for the spanish/american war. They're giving us some exemptions on our taxes this year for it.

In Florida, it's illegal for a man to wear a straples dress in public. However, halter style, and one strap is okay.

It's illegal to live with someone of the opposite sex in NC unless you're married. A woman working at the sheriff's office out here actually lost her job because she didn't want to marry her live in boyfriend. Not really an off-the-wall kind of dumb law, but one that made me laugh.
