Help answer this question below.

My husband has temporary custody of my 3 kids. His house is filthy and unhealthy. My kids are unsupervised and are living in an unstable atmosphere. Will DCFS remove them from his home and give me custody if I report this?

    If the roles were reversed, I would say no. They would just put the child in foster care and order the father to pay for it, but in your case, there's a good chance simply because you're the mother, even if the allegations were false.

    First, what is the reason why you don't have them? Then, if you have joint custody, you're half responsible for their situation. They may come after you as well. I know it doesn't make sense & it's not fair but that's government beureacracy for you. Good luck!
