You're reading How come Malcolm In The Middle was never released onto DVD? It's funny how nowadays if the TV series isn't released onto DVD it seems like a "lost" show, kind of like it never existed since you'll never be able to see it again, anywhere.

Did the show go bankrupt or something? Wouldn't they also have to pay the music clearance costs while the show was airing?

They paid for the music rites for broadcast but didn't for DVD. I read the site that was sited on Wiki. I'm including it. There's an article mentioned about music rites....I didn't read that article. The shows being made now clear the music rites for DVD but back in 2000 they didn't consider the show going to DVD and didn't.

They won't put it out because the music used in the show costs to much to clear. Bootleg it. I did.
