I think she has serious problems. She is obviously on something. I wish she'd get some help. I really think she has the best interests of the contestants on Idol at heart; but, she's too loopy to get a word out that makes any sense.

Mental and the luckiest woman in show business. Her career was in the crapper before Idol. She's lucky she has the job, the show could easily survive without her.

I don't know. . . if I hadn't read some magazine articles discussing how weird she acts, I don't think I would have thought her behavior is weird. She is an artist and entitled to have a little bit of a different and sensitive side. I like that she mostly has positive things to say to the various singers. Randy and Simon always have to say some sarcastic remark, as though it really matters what they think.

Paula Abdul isn't mental, I think she's desperate for attention. I mean, she stared in an episode of "That's So Raven" on the Disney Channel, can't get more desperate than that if you're a star of her popularity and are on a hit TV show. She acts mental in life and on American Idol because she wants attention any way she can get it. I think she feels overshadowed by Simon Cowell, because he's basically the most popular judge on there.
