STOP YELLING....take the caps lock off...we aren't deaf.

Ventilation is the key to eliminating Mothball's odour. If the odour prevails, check to make sure you have removed all of the Mothballs from the area. Always remember that the vapour is not harmful to humans or animals and acts as the preventative of moths and pests. To speed up the elimination of odour, place bowls of activated charcoal in the room, or spray fabrics with fabric deodorizer

Make sure you have removed all the mothballs from the area where you still smell them. Mothballs are made of a substance that evaporates at room temperature. So singwell is right about the ventilation. Cranking up the heat for a while could speed up the process, as would turning on an exhaust fan (point a window fan the wrong way out the window.)

If your place was empty when you moved in, you make be able to get rid of the scent by using vinegar. If it is a wood floor, try mopping the floor with water and vinegar. If carpeted or if it is elsewhere, you can run vinegar through your coffee or tea maker (it will clean them also). If you have neither, boil a pot of vinegar...get lots of steam going. That should help.
