I've said before and I say it again; cows are the most humble of animals. The spend their existence in fields, munching on grass, watching cars go by on the highway, and they contemplate mankind. They have seen it all, ever since their clawed ancestors had walked the marshes and bogs, alongside the dinosaurs. They have seen the Mesopotamian wizards fight one another, the great Leon Belmont bring down countless vampires, and have witnessed Woodstock. They observe humanity, and have themselves provided a great deal of a boost towards evolution by relinquishing their milk so that we could thrive. Some other cows, faces sad and wise, eat grass as they wait to be taken to the slaughterhouse and made into BigMacs. And yet they love us, and lament our curses. "Forgive them for they know not what they do". Jesus didn't say that. It was cows. The credit was taken from them. But they don't care. Cows truly are the physical manifestation of wisdom.
