Don't get a credit card to begin with. Other than that you can take a lot of steps to increase security with your credit cards such as not keeping social security number where anybody can get a hold of it, or using easy pin numbers or writing them on the card, or leaving wallet, card what ever where anybody can get a hold of it. Also, never ever give out your credit card information to any internet company unless you know that they are "Safe" to play with.

People that do this are getting smarter and smarter. We need more tough security.

Today at work, got an order with blatant fraud all over it. I called the credit card company to report it. Sadly, a great deal of damage has probably already been done.
