    Yes as they are still in touch with their history. More than us low landers. however I have my ties with ther Gordon clan

    The whole clan thing, particularly the clan tartan thing, is pretty new (as in the last few hundred years) so I reckon it's pretty widespread.

    I'm related to the Muirs according to my uncles research into the family name, but alas he is no longer with us, so I cannot carry on where he left off, the earliest Muire that I Know of may well be un-related but the history is very colourful indeed! :-)
