Ok this is going to offend some people, but it absolutely annoys my soul how almost every black person i know claims to be american indian as well as black. Does this annoy anybody else? Has this happened to anybody else?

• How do you know these people can't accept being one race over another? Did they tell you this? If so, who cares? Why bother being annoyed by something you can't change, or control. It's their decision not yours. And, just because you're black it doesn't mean you can't be racist against your own race. And finally, what makes this so simple minded is the fact that you can't accept them the way they see themselves whether if they can prove it or not.

• It has nothing to do with being acceptable or not. Im not singling out Native americans. Thats just what black people often say they are mixed with and i wonder why they feel the need to do that. It just seems to me no one wants to say ooh im black. people i know always tend to feel the need to add more on to that... and half the time they cant prove it. just an observation. Again how is that racist and simple minded? :-/ .........oooh thats right.. ITS NOT!

Since you're bold enough to ask this silly question here, next time ask the annoying person why they do this and this should put your simple mind to rest.
