• Go to settings, then preferences. Make sure nothing is checked in Notifications. That should do it.

• During the first 2 days the 'unsubscribe' was working. I got it done and also informed a good number of people who had posted questions on the topic. It doesn't work any more as easily, I get to know from other answers, Tom. Keep trying. +6.

• Yes. They send emails only when there is new activity on our watchlist. But find it easier to scroll down the answers to a question rather than going to each answer clicking on the links in the notifications, Rosie. I have disabled mine.
