i don't know i don't know you or your cousin just ignore that behavior and don't give any weight to what they say. They'll grow up in a couple years and stop being such an asshole. almost every family has that mean cousin.

Maybe your cousin thinks you don't like him/her and their feelings are hurt by their belief, so they try to hurt your feelings in return by acting mean to you. It's just a thought and may not be the case, however i think it's worth considering and discussing with them.
