Several years ago there was a "modern" movement, since that time has passed, things could now be called "post-modern". I don't know all the specifics, but I think it sounds pretentious to call someone old fashioned as modern, and someone contemporary as post-modern.
If I heard someone do that honey I wouldn't have a clue what it meant! :) ((hugs))
