Not really because EVERYONE has one.
-
I would say no because most homes come with a microwave oven these days. Unless you know for a fact that they don't have one.
-
Fine and dandy - unless the bride or groom has a good microwave already.
-
Groovy gift
-
I guess?
-
try something different, more romantic. be creative.
-
Yes it would a must have item if they dont have one already,
-
It would be easier for us to live without sex than without a microwave oven. So my answer is Yes - if it's on their wedding list.
-
I just read all the answers so I would say it's a great gift! +5 I hope you are feeling well Chief. Best Always, Jonathan

Possibly, if you know they don't have one and are moving into a house or apartment that doesn't already have one. OTOH, a good mic will set you back at least a couple hudred bucks. The elcheapos die right after the warranty expires. A quality mic would be something they can use for a long tme, and appreciate you for such a gift. I bought an Amana Radarange twenty years ago, and it is still going strong.

I think a microwave oven could be a good wedding gift. It would be great if you could check with your friend before making the decision. This is to ensure that the gift would not be duplicated. Getting more than one microwave oven will be a problem!
-
Sure, if it is something the couple needs.
-
It would make a very thoughtful, useful and practical gift. They are very handy and no kitchen should be without one. Just keep the receipt in case they get 3 more. : )
-
If the bride and groom don't already have a microwave, or have an older model microwave than yes, by all means a microwave is a wonderful gift (my husband and I just finally got a microwave without a turn dial on it! It's glorious.) However if they do have a microwave I would suggest sticking to the registry.

If the couple don't have one then it is a fantastic gift, otherwise it is pretty crap ;) Kitchen appliances have been given as wedding gifts since the dawn of time! (not quite) But I would add something a little personal and sentimental, just a token gift.
-
As long as they don't already have one or have been wanting a new one, it's a fantastic idea!
-
Sure, if the couple doesn't already have one. If they do, then NO!
-
yes everyone can use a micro.
-
Of course, always a handy gadget to have around :)
-
well it could get things really hot later on !!! if they get the timing right,,,,!!,,,lol
-
I'd say it would be a great gift!! Even if they all ready have one. They can put the new one out for the new life and new begiining and have the older one as back up if that one breaks. I currently have a back up. And had to use it for a little bit until I could afford the new one. And I still have it. +5

Yes
-
Yes. If it is on the wedding gift wish list.
-
Yes it would. I'll let you know when I'm getting married! LoL
-
I'm against microwaves so I say no, but I'm definitively the minority so I say yes! :D
-
Naw. Too functional. ;-)
-
Just accept it you might need for for pop corn while watching movies .
-
Well if the people eat microwaved food..personally..I'd see it as taking up kitchen space and would prefer something else..but, saying that for the majority..yes it would be a good gift :D
-
Not usually. Only if a couple has registered at a department store and the microwave of their choice is on the list.
-
Where were nice people like you when I got married. I would have loved for someone to get me a gift like that. I just priced those things and they are $75 for a good one (or more). I say go for it. It will be one of those gifts that someone can always use.
