omg you have no idea!!! i never requested any alerts..it is ridiculous..the entire time i have been on answerbag i have never had that and now boom!! and what sucks is that my emails come to my cell phone..so it's always beep..new email..beep 13 emails!! and it wastes my battery and ugh!!
that along with that stupid little comment light that stays on! i have no new comments!!!!!!!!!
frustrations..they will be the end of us lol
Yes, it's very annoying. I set up a spam folder so I can just delete all the AB emails easier.
It doesn't bother me in the least. That is why the "Delete" button was invented! Happy Friday! :)
Same here! I too am sick and tired of getting them.

But when I go to feedback and leave a message there is an option asking to get an email when they answer my question. Now THAT HAS NEVER EVER HAPPENED!!

If I want a reply I don't get one and if I don't want a reply I get them! Drives me NUTS!

Wish they'd get it figured out!!! There is a bazillion questions such as this on on AB and you'd think they'd see at least one of them and get it figured out!

Make sure the boxes at the bottom of the question pages you visit are unchecked:
Send me new answers to this question.
Send me new questions in AB email notifications.
Yeah, I keep getting those too. It's a real pain in the ass.
Uncheck the boxes at the bottom of the page just above submit
Mark them as SPAM! There, problem solved.
Maybe AB is being run by the GOV'MENT!!! Try updating your profile to say you WANT to receive emails!!! LOL
Yeah; pretty fatigued by it.
This is one of the reasons I chose to use an e-mail account I do not use very much as my AB contact e-mail.
Anyone know how to delete your AB account?

You're reading Are you sick and tired of getting dozens of emails every day from Answerbag even though your profile says you should not receive ANY emails?? This is ridiculous! I have compained twice but nothing has changed!

there may be a comment way down your list somewhere that was left unread. I have never gotten a false light there.

Try "mark all as read " and see if that helps.

I have put a filter on my inbox that sends every "answerbag - Administration" message to the bin. That solved mail issues for me. However that probably put my moderation replies and my other AB messages there too, but I am here often enough to figure out what is going on anyhow. Until AB fixes the issue of changing your preferences on notifications, the filter will work for me.

This is one of the "fixes" that shouldnt have been fixed, because they fixed it too well.

I've tried the filter ans still get the messages. Have marked them all as junk mail to see if that stops them.
