For people who play World of Warcraft. Why does everyone hate people who play as Death Knights? So many people give me @#$% just because of my class preference and I do not understand why there is such a huge amount

The reason is because there are too many Death Knights who do not fully understand how to properly play the class. People tend to put DK players in 3 categories. Those who just play them because they look and sound cool. Those who play them without knowing how and always gripe or ask questions. Then there are those who have mastered them. For the most part people tend to group all new DK's under the first category. In either case it's a game. Play it the way you want to and try not to let them bother you.

I don't hate death knights, many in my guild have a DK toon. WOW is just a game, don't take what others are saying personally. If you've truely mastered DK you shouldn't have many problems. Using a DK toon without understanding them or knowing what you're doing can cause resentment. Noobs who don't understand the game also are leary of DK's. The name alone scares them but as they play and read the forums they will hopefully learn. Bottom line, it's a game, have fun with it and don't take online characters personally. BTW there is a 3rd expansion in the works with new lands and races. I saw the announcement this morning on Blizzard news. The cost wasn't released though.
