How many methods are there of preparing potatoes? Are there any less obvious ways of using potato in food?

    There are tons of ways to cook a potato. Mashed, boiled, skillet fried, french fried, hash browns, cut thin and fried like a chip, baked, roasted, steamed, potato salad, twice baked, potato cakes, I even think pickled. To get them in food to make it less obvious I would say mash them and add them as a thickener.
