No sooner than the first of December. If they must!
Not an hour after Halloween pasts by. They did this at my job last year, and I really hated it so much because I was still wearing Halloween clothes. grrr...
3rd of December.
I used to work in a supermarket and they started the day after Halloween. By Christmas i hated them!
No earlier than mid-December......
December 15
I like it at Thanksgiving onward. I tune out before then. +4
Any time AFTER Thanksgiving is fine with me. If they did that, I could listen to it till Jan 6. 'Little Christmas'. Or was it the 12th Day of Christmas?
The time nears by God pleasure to play it forever!
They should NEVER stop playing it. :)
I dont think they should stop..... only the other day I was walking round the house singing 'jingle bells' quite uplifting in the middle of summer :)
They can start playing it at 11:45 p.m. on December 23. They should stop at 12:01 A.M. on December 26th.
I think they shouldn't.
Playing the same damned songs over and over and over, gets on my nerves, the older I get.
What if it's not Xmas songs? What if one set of songs was the same set of songs being played EVERYWHERE!!!
I bet you'd get damned tired of it.
Never. Its annoying.
Is anyone else sick of these _________groups?

What if carolers came to your door and started singing Flash by Queen, but instead of Flash they were singing Jesus?

You're reading When should shops start playing Christmas music?

Agreed. December is fair game (whether we like it or not). Yes, some people do their Christmas shopping early, but that doesn't mean we all have to suffer through Jingle Bell Rock for three months!
