pretty sure Dende died, they used the new Namek dragonballs to revive the planet and its inhabitants. Mr Satan(hercule) was the only one to survive the whole time.

just about everyone dies at least once. everyone is alive at the end but the only people that dont die through out the whole show is dendea and mr saitan (and pan, gohans daughter).
