How often is a football world cup played? yearly...?what is there a different name for the cu each time?

    It is played every 4 years. The cup is always the same. 1950 marked the 25th anniversary of Jules Rimmet presidency of the event. since then, the cup is often refered to as the 'Jules Rimmet'
