For some reason, my 1GB USB memory stick doesn't hold files anymore. When I try to access it through my computer, it says "Please insert a disk into Removable Disk (F:). How can I fix this?

    Have you installed any other drives/removable storage in last few weeks?

    This happened to me, the drive letter "F" was assigned to another removable device. I had to go into device manager and assigned my USB drive a different drive letter [I used Z] and it has worked ever since.

    I have been having the same problem. I'm not sure but I think it may have something to do with copyright laws & websites getting smarter about them.

    I just wiggled my flash drive until the light goes on. Or, I access the C drive and then I edit the address in the address bar to read F:/ and then the flash drive pops open. it works for me.
