Help answer this question below.

03Dodge Ram sputters at lights. Strong smell of exhaust. No feul filter so that can't be it. air filter looks good. all fluids topped off (transmission was low but don't think that's it). What next?

    not to point out the obvious, but I would think the injectors are dirty/clogged because of the lack of a fuel filter
    the mfg put it there for a reason
    same as a t-stat
    many backyard hacks think you don't need these and extra parts are ok after a fix, but they aren't
