Help answer this question below.
I pull out the resperator, put it on, knock the cap off the anasthesia bottles, turn the AC on full to disperse gas and depending on my mobility I either run or wheelchair my a** out of there and go to Mexico for my surgery
Are you serious? What difference does a person's appearance make? Obviously he is a qualified doctor, otherwise he wouldn't be there in the first place. Are you so shallow that you would allow a person's outward appearance frighten you? I'd be more concerned with getting better than what freaking jewelry my doctor was wearing. Besides, if it was a female doctor, would her earrings throw you into an utter anxiety attack? I didn't think so. Grow a freaking backbone. This world is filled with diversity in colors, genders, cultural differences, etc. Time to pull your head outta your conservitive brainwashing and smell the beauty of individuality!!!!!!
No, I stay calm and get the hell out of there.
No. I simply ask for his phone number afterwards.
Tattoos are delicious.
dont judge the book by its cover and let him do his job,but boy oh boy that would be something to see(the patients face)lol
I could care less how the surgeon looked. As long as they're qualified and have a good track record I don't care.
No panic. Who knows what everyone else has under their scrubs? If that DID matter to someone else, they REALLY should ALWAYS be doing full body searches on all those they seek for any advice!
ABSOLUTELY!
yeah!if he is a doctor he should know that tattos are bad for your skin!
Well, after 39 shunt revisions, 2 hernia operations, and a gastric bypass, surgery is second nature to me. No, I would not be bothered.
Suppose the replacement surgeon had a tattoo of a daggar or crossbones on his forehead?
Now, would you panic?
I did not realize my question would raise such controversy.
absolutely! There's always a plan of care with patients and surgeons that is specifically geared towards that patients diagnosis, plan of treatment, fears, etc. I wouldn't do it...
well technically a surgeon wouldnt be allowed to wear jewellery in the operating room so it would just be a matter of the tattoos, i dont think they would phase me as the doctor would have to be qualified to perform surgery so i guess i would be ok with it!
Depends on if the tatoos are happy or mean
I'd be panicing no matter what he looked like, to be honest, but would panic no more because he had a nose ring and tattoos. So long as he has experience, and the qualifications to do it, then I'd be as fine as I could be while facing the knife!
LOL I think a person in tatoos and piercings probably has a better understanding of things than someone who has tunnel vision inside his square suit and tie..
