There is a huge grey area in modelling, between showing off clothes, through showing off beauty, to pornography. Everybody must make their own decision where it gets unacceptable - there is no absolute in it. But, in my opinion, that line does not correspond with nudity. Some swimsuit pictures are sexier than some nude pictures. So it is quite reasonable to draw the line upstream of swimsuit short, or downstream of nudity. My own opinion is towards the latter end: some nude shots are definitely artistic rather than degrading. And conversely, some swimsuit shots can be degrading.

Since you said "artistic" I don't have a problem with it at all. If they are willful and mature participants and have been told about possible misuses of their photos, then green light it. :)

It depends on the results. There's plenty of non-sexual nude art. And there's plenty of clothed (or semi-clothed) sexual pictures which really amount to porn. Most of it is based on background and pose, not just the clothing or lack thereof.

It really depends on the photo, so long as it's not an excuse for porn then it's cool.
I do strongly feel that porn in all its guises is deeply degrading & damaging to society.

Degradation and sin are just like beauty - in the eyes of the beholder. The only time I would have a "problem" with anyone posing nude would be if they were coerced into doing it.
