Sure. If you adopt your wife's children and then divorce, you will pay child support.
I have known a couple of guys who paid child support (and was not ordered to do so by the court) simply because they loved the children and wanted to make sure they were provided for. They knew from the beginning that they were not their biological children, but treated them as if they were. Their "real" fathers did nothing.
Yes, my situation, i was in the military, and was accused, i did the DNA, but was sent overseas, meanwhile the court assumed it was mine and started taking child support. then they claim to have lost the DNA test, and said that since the time statute had passed I could not contest it again, fast forward 10 years, and they find the test. but now they say I have to pay the state fees which are about 20,000 dollars (for her getting food stamps)we need to really change the support laws, for guys it is a lose lose situation!
30% of fathers currently paying child support is on children that are not theirs, some of which never had sex with the woman.

The courts have proven themselves pretty firm on this. If you were married to the woman when she gave birth, you were deemed to be the father. Now that DNA testing is available, that may change.
My first wife accused me of being unfaithful, but I can't help but think she was using that as a cover-up.

agreed and if you do that they are legally your children and you should pay support..i was thinking more along the lines of the poor married man who's wife cheated and got pregnant..and now he is forced to pay, because he is the "legal" father
