Help answer this question below.
It is a poorly coded resource hog. It takes a mondo video card and much RAM to even load the basic desktop, leaving little in the way of system resources for any application you may want to run, like a browser.
It also may take the #1 slot in "Worst software ever" away from a previous version of Windows.
It's sad that operating systems ever make that list, but even sadder when they are from Macroshaft and thus pre-installed on many PCs from the factory.
BTW - Why do you think Linux has gained in popularity since the release of Vista? Between that and the hype/hoopla over Google's Chrome OS and the uptick in Mac sales.....
The never ending Microsoft cycle.
Windows 95 - Okay not that bad, but kinda unstable.
Windows 98 - Good!
Windows ME - Abysmal...
Windows XP - Great!
Windows Vista - Disgusting.
Windows 7 - Apparently, good!!
Did you notice a pattern? =P
From what I hear, it's because Windows released it way too early in order to compete with the other operating systems coming out at the time (Ubuntu for example)
Windows 7 is supposedly going to be what Vista would have been given enough time to work everything out.
But then again, that's just hearsay from my computer-savvy friends...
Here how explan:
- You use it too much.
- You put too much memory in your hard drive.
- You open alot of windows.
or
- You cover the vent (may cause over heating) on your PC.
