Day to day (and on AB) are you trying to be nice or trying to be real? (Answers not limited to those choices but they do seem opposites.)

I try to be nice...always have. Even if it means not being real all the time.

Real comes first and nice is secondary. Usually it's possible to be both, but I'll be honest with people every time.

Real usually over powers nice. I'm sure all of those I've offended would agree.

If someone asks a somewhat silly question I go more for the laugh, but if someone looks like they're really in pain, or doesn't know what to do, then it's all about giving them real options they may not have thought of.

I try to be real and end up giving answers that dont always put a favorable light on myself but on the more silly question I give silly answers.

I am nothing but real. Real and sarcastic. Although, I am certainly not mean. And I'm probably just a little bit nice, too...:-)

real and who cares if the truth hurts? some one hase to be mean enough to tell the truth while the rest of the world is too busy being nice.

Being real and being nice are not opposites. Mean is the opposite of nice. You can be real and still be nice. And why be mean unless there is a need for it?

I don't try to be nice. It is reality these people need. Actually, I will sometimes deliberatly be mean to someone just for the sake of my own enjoyment. But at least you know what's what and I'm not dancing around it with tact.

I am real with my answers, and nice with any replies, there is never a reason to be mean!
