I pulled the stop button once so a woman and I could get freaky in Vegas. The security officer was very nice about the whole thing over the intercom. Wished he'd spoken up a little sooner though, she got all pissed that some guy had been watching and I didn't get any more that night.

Yep, I was. I was stuck for about 40 minutes. I was by myself. I used the phone to call the lift company - they said they'd be half an hour and could they do anything for me in the meantime. I asked for pizza and a six-pack of beer, but they declined ;-(.

I lay down, had a snooze, practised coin tricks...

My only fear now is being trapped in a lift that is crowded, or trapped when I'm busting to go to the loo!

No, but I think that I'd like to be just once and for less than three days. Preferably with another person. It would be nice to be able to be stuck with a stranger for a whole day and really get to know each other.

yes, with an elderly non-English speaking, mid eastern (maybe Arabic) woman ...and the power, lights. everything went out...She was really alarmed!!

I was stuck in an elevator on the 4th floor of the Psych building when the power went out. Plus that, someone had called in a bomb threat. (it was finals week).

Yes. We were jumping up and down when the elevator was going down, and suddenly dropped, and stopped. We called for help, and soon found outwe were stuck between the first and second floor. It was a friday, so if it had been an hour later, we'd be stuck until monday! Luckily, we got out soon.

yes. 12 members of our biking team got into a who knows how old elevator in a hotel, and decided to jump when it got to our floor. we called the front dest and they hung up on us! we eventually got the door open.
