You're reading This morning, I made oatmeal cookies for my wife's business kickoff. She brought what was left back home and put them back in the cookie jar. Now, she is all upset & claiming those were her cookies! I just can't win sometimes. Ever have such trouble?

Sometimes I am tempted to trade her in for a younger model that would appreciate all that I do. But, marriage is not just that. It is having things in common and shared memories. It is building trust and an alliance against the world! Besides, right now she is the major bread winner thanks to King George II and his Capital Hill Cronies.

i know marriage isnt just for christmas and all that, and im not suggesting for a second you should trade her in! i just think its a really nice thing you did for her and she clearly hasnt appreciated it, so i think you need to let her know how you feel cos she might not realise. i think there should be more nice guys like you in the world! take care. i think see how it goes with telling her you feel unappreciated first, if she takes it on board and tries to change things then you might not feel sorry you married her after all. secrets in marriages is the thing that breaks you most. tell her calmly how you feel and that you just wanted to be honest with her, hopefully that gesture she will appreciate. good luck with it all, i hope things all work out for you because i think you deserve to be happy.
