You're reading We've been together 4 years. I just don't see myself marrying him, and he's trying to be so perfect. I'm afraid it's not the "real" him. He's trying to change, just so I would say, "I do." Does that make sense?

Counselling - good point, but don't you think there's just an element of common sense involved here? I think HealthFreak suspects there's no future in this relationship, but she wants somebody else to confirm it.

of course she wants someone to confirm it. we all need that comfort when we are about to make a big decision, especialy we ladies. that's why bathrooms exist.
