  • Semi Charmed Life by Third Eye Blind is just a lot of G's D's and C's for the most part and most people know the song. Try that one
  • Almost any song from the late 50s and early 60s. Order of MOST chords: G Em C D(7th), though they DID tend to "mix them up" at times. (You might also wish to learn C AM F G...) It's the same progression, only a different key. With those batch of chords, you can play a LOT of the older R&R and Folk music. ;-)
  • Actually the way to list the chords is G, Em, C and D, which is the order they're played in most songs. Those are the chords for "Heart and Soul". "Double Shot of My Baby's Love" Old folk song, "The Seine" You could play Ray Charles "Shout" if you don't have to use all the chords (it's just G and Em most of the song). You can get "Knocking on Heaven's Door" out of those chords. Most of the song "Sleepwalk" (instrumental) though most bands threw in a jazz chord or two to make an interesting resolve. Little Red Riding Hood. Most of "Happiness is a Warm Gun" (Beatles) I know a lot of older songs, I guess you can tell.
