I have a 1995ford explorer that is leaking coolant out of the bottom of the housing that covers the heater core and ac unit. could the leak be anything but a bad heater core?

    id get the head gasket cheched out for compression leaks-lossen the coolant cap so pressure escapes, if it continues then, itseither a hose leading to the heater or the matrix itself.have you tried any stopleak remedies?
