What do i put in desired salary box on job application, i know to put negotiable or scale but it is an online form and will only accept numbers...so what do i put?

Put what you expect to get. If the employer has listed how much they expect to pay for that position, start with that. They usually have a range they'll pay depending on the experience/quality of the candidate.
