Where can I work that lets you have tattoos and piercings? (Hillsboro, Oregon)

    Depends on the company. Alot of companies will not hire you because of that if they are visible. The employees are the number one asset of a business and the way they act or portray themselves is a reflection of that business. I'm sure there are some places where this would either not matter or be encouraged -- nightclubs, tattoo parlors, places where young people like to hang out, etc. There is no law in place stating that a company cannot discriminate against you because of it (I don't care what some of the others are saying). Tattoos and piercings are not in the same class as gender, race, sexual orientation, religious affiliation, age, etc. You have every right to keeping them and displaying them, but by choosing this, you are also choosing the consequences that go with it. Right, wrong, or indifferent that's the way it is.
