We now have a breast feeding doll in the stores. Are we going to far?

I don't really see anything wrong with it. I mean...nobody has a problem with little boys using toy guns. Atleast with breast feeding, they're mimicing a healthy and positive thing

I don't think so. Our society is f*cked up. A breastfeeding doll is controversial, but toy guns and knives are acceptable. Breastfeeding is normal and natural, why should a breastfeeding doll be unacceptable? Why can't kids know about breastfeeding?!

we have gone way to far. i think that we should have stopped with just mormal dolls that dont scare the living daylight out of kids (ive been scared of dolls and clowns my whole life.) I think we went too far with just the doll that are able to pee. thats just disgusting...

Well, I think it's cheap and purely commercial -- anything about how the creators think it will promote nurturing and breastfeeding is bunk, IMO. But like others have said, we have toy guns and knives: kids play at KILLING each other, and killing is just as "mature" as breastfeeding is, and it's also destructive and negative, whereas breastfeeding ultimately is just a natural bodily function and the best way to feed a baby. So if a breastfeeding doll is going too far, I think we went "too far" a long, long time ago.
