  • mine didn't (either of them) but i've heard some people say they did but not too bad, its an individual thing but i love mine and it would have been worth it even if they hurt horribly
  • Well, its not the worst pain you'll ever exprience in your life,As there are no nerve endings in the Tragus,However the pain defers from person to person depending on their pain tolorence, gender ETC.The type of jewelwry chosen can also amplify the pain alot.People have described the procedure as feeling like a "punch in the head".It can take from 4 months-1 year to fully heal,It may bleed depending on the person for about an hour after the procedure.
  • Mine did not hurt at all when they first did it! I was amazed. It felt like a little pressure and it was over before I even knew it. Its been 5 days and it's sore. They told me just a couple weeks before the pain would go away. Totally worth it! I LOVE mine! I would definitly do it again! :)
  • Mine didn't hurt when I got it, but I heard it crunch, and that was gross. Mine healed in about 2 months, and I've had it for over 7 years and have not had one problem.
  • I'd assume that any time you poke a large needle through a part of your body, that it's going to hurt at least a little bit.
  • i just got mine done yesterday... there was a bit of trouble,he couldnt get my hoop in properly!! but other than that it was ok..i heard the noise but its not sore at all!! i even slept on it last night!!
  • they hurt slightly, depending on how fast the needle goes through, the woman who done mine did it really slow so it kinda hurt.
  • mine didnt hurt at ALL. i remember waiting for it to happen and the guy was like...okay youre all done. i was surprised! and most people i talk to didnt feel it either.
  • i got mine about two days ago and it really didnt hurt that bad. theres some pressure from the needle, but its not that bad. mines really sore tho. and it bled alot as well. im hoping i dont regret this later on..
  • i just got mine done two days ago and it hurt the whole 2 secs it took to put it through. funny part is i was so anxious for it to happen that i couldn't stop laughing when it was over cause i falt like a big whimp! I would do it over. Just don't touch it unless your cleaning it otherwise it may get bothersome
  • Yes but its only for a few seconds and then it is so worth it
  • I had mine done a few days ago and it did hurt a bit, but not nearly as much as I was expecting it to. Mine hurt a heck of a lot more the next day, it felt like I'd been kicked up one side of my face. D:
  • it can hurt for a while .. wen i did mine i have to admit i was squeezing the chair wen my piercer did it but it was totally worth and the swelling stop in about 1 day for me =]
  • It gets tender but it shouldn't hurt. I had mine done the first time with the clamp and that sucked. Make sure the piercer is going to use a tube instead. That is less invasive.
  • Didnt feel a thing, had it done 4 hours ago, still cant feel anything. Man, getting my lobes done hurt more than this! Hoping i dont jinx it by saying this!
  • I got my tragus pierced about two days ago. The pain was definately tolerable and trust me I only have two piercings on each ear lobe. Even when I got my earlobes pierced it hurt a lot and I just couldn't imagine the pain I would feel when getting my tragus pierced. I was being such a wuss and my friend tugged me and sat me down and basically it just feels like a tiny pinch and the funniest part was when the piercer was trying to get the jewelery through and couldn't get it in and I still didn't feel anything what so ever! I love my tragus and I'm so happy about how it's been behaving because right after I got it done it didn't get red, swollen, or anything and I sleep on it perfectly and it has been behaving so well these last two days..almost like I have had it for years. Get it done, don't worry about the pain and don't worry, I am the biggest wuss and I felt like my ear lobes hurt even more, definately the least painful piercing for me. Here's a great website on how to take care of it: http://www.43things.com/things/view/83589/get-a-tragus-piercing
