  • I would think so. If the child does not want to have to visit the non-custodial parent, the custodial parent should go to family court and try to have the order changed. The son is old enough that the court may give some weight to his wishes. The court will not deny the non-custodial parent some sort visitation with his son without cause.
  • Probably. Otherwise it would become an incentive for separated parents to try to make their children despise the other parent.
  • I know that in CA its not. The child is not forced, if the child wants to go they go if not that was the childs decision. I would hope its the same in TX. I know from personal experience with this.
