Question

Help answer this question below.

Is it possible to have a lighter period for 2 days and normally have longer periods for 5 or 6 days. I have taken 2 pregnancy tests and get a negative result? Could I be pregnant and not know it until I miss a period completely? Confused and need advice.

If the 'period' was earlier than expected it could be implantation bleeding which typically occurs 7-10 days after conception. This bleeding is lighter than normal, generally under a day and a half long, and has been seen in less than 20% of pregnancy. Since pregnancy tests can take up to 15 days after conception, it could be due to this if it was early. Otherwise, some cycles are just different
