Where is the fuse under the hood of a 1988 240 DL Volvo<and if this fuse is bad will it prevent my car from starting?

    you can pick one of these up at any chain AP store and they are well worth the $20
    there is not just one fuse under the hood and there are hundreds of things that can cause a no start condition
