If you aren't willing to do the work to be an expert, all you are going to do is waste money, no matter what you are buying and selling. Trends and fashions change constantly. Something can be very valuable one year and worthless the next. A newstory can suddenly raise interest in something that was worthless before. You have to constantly keep on top of trends and know people very well in order to make money at something. There is no free lunch in life. If you want to get paid, you have to do the work. Besides, learning about things is half the fun. If you can't take delight in learning, you'll be boring as well as broke.
