Do you think we forgot our family values somewhere on the way up the economic ladder?

As with everything else in society, I think SOME people are unaffected by this over time, and others change and the family suffers and even decays. But some have maintained their strong family values over many generations and continue to pass it on to the next generation.

If they were instilled properly, then the answer is no. If they were instilled improperly or not at all, then there's not much to forget.

yes i do think that we have forgotten how to instill family values cuz if you look at how kids treat their parents and the parents let them how hte kids treat each other and their teachers and other elders and if they disrespect others and the parents let them then thats a dead give away that some were we lost the ability to instill in our kids how to respect others, how to be responcable, and also to take responceability i hear all the time "well the teacher hates me." as a reason for bad grades. now that is not taking responcibility.
