Help answer this question below.
Probably. You'll be thankful for it if you get into an accident...and if you're afraid that everyone will LAFF AT J00, just get a Viking helmet, that always shuts everyone up. :)
Personal preference. I wear one since my education and everything I work towards is worthless if I smack my head on a tree or a rock and can't think anymore.
What could it hurt..
Absolutely, it helps keep your brains inside your head.
YES!
Absolutely! I recently started wearing a helmet after my friend was hit by an out of control skier and was seriously hurt because he was not wearing a helmet (he wears a helmet now). Even if I think I am a good skier, someone else may ruin my day for me! we can easily cruise at 20-30mph or more and impact with hard packed snow, ice, trees, skiers or other objects during a fall or collision could cause serious brain injury.
Always and include canoeing and cycling in that...
If we have brains...
if you love your life
Yes, skiers and snowboarders never know when they are going to get their heads split, it's better to have head protection...
better to be safe than sorry.
Yes Pweeze. >shiver< ;+
Only if you plan on doing jumps or tricks. My 1st time snowboarding, I got the wind knocked out of me a few times (did a superman jump), and landed on my ass a couple of times,(didn't know how to stop so I just fell on my ass to stop).
Would it have saved Natasha Richardson? If the answer is maybe than the answer is yes!
I think everyone should decide for himself wether he wants to have his head crushed into a tree or not. It is you own responsibility. Kids should defenitely wear one, but to be honest I never saw one without a helmet.
Every person that is too haughty to wear one is just a fool. I personally find things on my head just incredably annoying. Therefore I accept the risk of having a smashed head, but when I go off road I defenitely wear one.
It would seem prudent to do so.
of course.
Yes....the pros do so should you!
I recommend it, as with bike riding.
yes, to protect your head when you fall.
