My dictionary says that de facto in the sense of "living together as if married" is only an Australian/ New Zealand term. what is the term used for this in other places?

You're reading Why do people sak "LIKE". Example- i was going to "like" cut my hair, then "like" decided not to!.. I occasionaly say like too, but where did it come from its so annoying and over used for everything and almost everyone.
