I've seen too many questions copy/pasted here from A+, MSCE, and similar to have much tolerance for it any more.
Employers want IT people with certificates, but many people with certs are people like this questioner; people who can't be troubled to actually learn a fucking thing!
The reason we have so many computer problems is because of people like this. The iIT industry is full of people who didn't pay attention in class, didn't do their own homework, and don't know shit about shit.
Meanwhile, the people who actually *do* know stuff about computers are often unemployed or employed in non-IT fields because of this type of goat-wanker.

Nope. I don't have the funds to get the certs to get an IT job.
I have been a few places trying for an IT or other computer-based position based on my skills, but without the certs I get passed over every time so I gave up on that and resigned myself to being a mere hobbyist.
