I have heard the same thing. I have heard not to use plastic plates. I have not heard much about the plastic containers though. As far as disposable plates, I would buy paper plates. It is truly scary when I think of all the dangerous things we use to cook with and the harmful ingredients in certain foods.

You're reading Should we heat food in plastic containers in microwave? I heard plastic (or some plastic additive) tends to "leach" into the food and cause sterility in males and cancer in general! What materials are safer for microwave use?
