Help answer this question below.

I am a 25yoF going solo to Puerto Plata, DR, staying at an all-inclusive resort in April. Some friends think it's not a good idea to go alone due to trafficking. Do they have a real reason to worry? If so, are there any precautions I can take?

    I believe that a young female traveling to a foreign country alone, is cause for concern. You have no idea who anyone is, what they want or do. Look at Natalee Holloway. I dont mean to scare you by all means, but PLEASE bring a friend. If you cannot, then be vigilant, careful and avoid bars,clubs, and secluded places. Call a family member or a friend EVERY day to let them know you are safe.
