What should one do when getting burned with oil during cooking? It happened to me yesterday--ouch!

    FIRST do NOT do it again!..........

    B) you should have put ice and cold water on it...but as it is too late and you are not going to do it again this advice is redundant.

    No, I use Pam Cooking Spray. Change to that so you won't get burned.

    You need to run it under cold water. Put ice in a zippy bag and let it set on the burned area. Use an Aloe Vera Gel that is sold in stores to take the sting out. Also there is an Aloe Vera Plant that can be used. +5 Hope it gets better! OUCH is right D.C.!!!

    Cool it down as fast as possible. Cold water works best. If the skin is burned away see a Dr, you could get a nasty infection.
