When i plug in my ipod touch it says thats its backing up my ipod, which is great because im always worried i might lose the stuff on my ipod. But how do i know where is the backup saved?

It should back it up on the itunes library. Even so, if you lose music on the ipod some how just plug it back into your pc and sync it with itunes :)
