how many times a day? total time. when my kids were that age my wife was taught that 90% of the content of the breast would be drained in the first 10 to 15 min. But she went longer 'cause that was how she put them to sleep. demand sets flow. kids with binkies go for HOURS with them. a warm nipple is a child's comfort and reassurance, and no-one receiving it ever thinks that they get too much of that.

You're reading My 6 month olds still breasfeeds through out the day along with cereals and purees and vegetables. Lately she each time she breasfeeds its for at least 30 minutes to an hour is this a long time? Is my milk supply low or does she just need more?
