Help answer this question below.

Me and girlfriend had sex for the first time (both virgins) we had sex the day before she was suppose to get her period and she is now 6 days late. we used a condom and i did not ejaculate she was not on the pill. there was no tear or rip in condon. HELP!

    Based on your description, it is unlikely that she is pregnant. Pregnancy only occurs when sperm fertilizes an egg. It doesn't sound like there was any sperm that made it into the vaginal canal because you did not ejaculate and there was no rip in the condom. Also, a day before a period starts is a highly unusual time for an egg to be available for fertilization.

    Although everyone is different, my guess is that, as a virgin, the thought of pregnancy was weighing on your girlfriend despite the smart precautions you both took. The thought continued and continues to weigh on her, and the delayed onset of her period is only heighening her concern, which in turn is delaying the onsert of her period!

    If she is not pregnant this will eventually correct itself, most likely within another day or two at most and her period will start. Most home pregnancy tests are useful a week after intercourse to determine whether or not a pregnancy has occurred. A quick test will remove the doubt and allow your girlfriend's body to begin her period after the results come in and she is relieved.
