i've been playing nurse to my fish for three days now, he too is a goldie with the floatie bloaties--he is completely upside down and not moving too much. i've had him for about 9 years and afraid he will die, but we're hangin on and i keep trying remedies like on these sites. don't give up, i understand that this is temporary and survivable! pretty common occurence in goldies...another suggestion since your little one can't eat is to try the epsom salts, easily inhaled as the fish breathes. read instructions on these sites carefully for proper dosage.

Poor fish. You might have to take him to the vet. Or look up common ailments concerning goldfish.

My goldfish is developing black line on tail n fin. It swims weird and is most of the time at the surface(not 4 air) throws out all the food

My goldfish got ich. I gave it medication (bottle brand: Kordon "Ich Attack") but it's getting even more spots! Help!!

The sides of the mouth on my 2yo Oranda are collapsing. They are so narrow squished peas barely get in. Should I try to open it wider?

You're reading My goldfish seemed to have too much air in his swim bladder yesterday and today his spine looks bent (he's like u-shaped now) and I don't think he can move. I tried to feed him pees but he can't move to eat. Help?
